5. She got busted one too many times.

The strictures of her parole kind of force her to walk the straight and narrow. But the up side is, she's a lot happier now. I posted a thread about a year ago, relating a clinic visit with her that just about broke my heart.

She was living an awful life, she was shooting up all the time and getting lots of nasty skin abscesses, she cried all the way through her clinic visits, etc.

She's much better now. And when my patients are happy, I'm happy...
