A black ant bit my tongue today. How? I won't keep you guessing.

I keep a water bottle on a small shelf above the kitchen sink. It is November and in my experience, there aren't ants crawling around in November! But in November, 2025, there are ants and one was on the lip of the bottle. I took a drink and felt something like a shred of plastic on my lip. Between reflexively spitting and pawing at my mouth, I got the damned thing out, then felt my tongue stinging. I grabbed baking soda, dumped some in my hand and stuck my tongue in it, 3 times rinsing each time.

The ant, being washed down the drain, is an ex-ant.

Happy Friday to all.
