8. I don't believe they stage videos, but some videos can be misleading.

They definitely DON'T do AI so that part is 100% true.

A majority of The Dodo's content is submitted by the audience, which they then edit. This reliance on user-generated content means they often can't verify the full context or originality of the footage.

They've been heavily criticized for the stories being heavily dramatized and human narratives being inappropriately projected onto animals to garner a stronger emotional response. It's pretty obvious they edit the videos for maximum emotional effect.

That said, I find most of their videos to be very enjoyable and I don't believe they are trying to intentionlly mislead people. However, I do believe they try to manipulate viewers' emotions - which doesn't bother me so much as long as they tell interesting stories.
