(9,992 posts)53. Well, I was twelve at the time, but probably.
I was always hanging out with people older than I was... probably due to being bored with kids my own age.
(Yeah, I started partying kind of early. I quit bourbon when I was 16 because one afternoon I went to a Jr. class party and drank an entire bottle of Jack Black and then drove home and sat with my mother while she was getting ready to go to work at 11 pm. And, as I sat there, I realized something... I was stone sober. I had finished a bottle of bourbon like four-five hours before, and I was sitting there realizing that I felt nothing from it.
That was the day I stopped drinking bourbon.)

Happy and laid back. Any doing "recreational" drugs were far more likely to be using far less deadly and potent

All of us "nonconformists" looked the same in those days. Been there, done that, I guess. Two of the people...

Just needed to know your age as this photo would be very much standard during that time. That's all.

Probably, but I'm spooked by the guy in the upper portion on the left who looks like a young Matt Gaetz.

Definitely yes. We were so naive but we were not cruel like folks are today. Young
