Cats are incredible. I had one disappear for several months and had given up on him. I grieved for him and then one day when it was pouring rain my hubby said “sissy is at the door wanting in” and without looking at the door I said no, she’s not she’s in the chair. I looked and screamed “ITS MURFF HE’S BACK” . I’m pretty sure he was at one of the neighbors houses that we didn’t associate with much (long story) and finally managed to escape. He was healthy and well fed, just wanted HOME.
