2. I got a story...

I was enamored with a girl for many years during my youth. We were both shy, so we never were boyfriend or girlfriend at that young age, but I was so in love with her all through my elementary and Jr. High years. I was too shy to do anything about it.

I had lost contact with her, because she moved and had switched Jr. High schools. We ended up in the same high school after that, but we never really saw each other...my high school class was over 600 people, and I went to trade school half-days, and regular high school for the other half, so we virtually never saw each other.

The night after high school graduation, a bunch of the graduating class went out to a huge bar (drinking age was 18, I was 17, and this bar didn't proof). She was there. I saw her from across the bar. She was dancing with someone. We locked eyes, she stopped dancing, walked up to me, gave me a passionate kiss, and walked away. I just stood there dumbfounded.

As an adult, I was on Facebook for awhile, and she friend requested me. She messaged me and told me that she has been in love with me her entire life. And I never realized it, because I was a shy dumbass. Shocked the hell out of me. I subsequently left Facebook for unrelated reasons, and we never communicated again. And as an adult, I never told her that I loved her for all of my young life. What was I to say?

Anyway, if you are wondering what this has to do with your post...I used to play this oldie constantly as a kid and as a teen, because the name of the song was similar to her name.
