(9,726 posts)124. Raisin bran or Wheaties were favorite cold cereals as a kid.
With whole milk and honey and, if no honey, preferred brown to white sugar.
Never cared much for hot cereals.
Now (mid 70s) never eat cold cereal but only eat cut oats, not the fast variety. Like with 1/2 and 1/2 plus honey and blueberries best, eat 2 or 3 mornings a week.

I like it in the winter--warms the bones. I also had Cream of Rice, Mother's Oats, I made them myself. Easy to make.
