Thank you, underpants. Gone with the Wind is too darn long too. The Ten Commandments was bad also.

The Wizard of Oz and GWTW came out the same year. GWTW won the Oscar for best picture. IMO Wizard told a story, GWTW .

I love the Wizard of Oz books. I devoured them as a kid. I think that affected the movie for me.
