I detest them all and they're overrated, IMHO.
Like Elaine in Seinfeld, The English Patient really grinds my gears for some reason.

Thank you, underpants. Gone with the Wind is too darn long too. The Ten Commandments was bad also.

otherr than the boyfriend / girlfriend thing , it was a modern version of the movie a night to remember.

The Wizard of Oz and GWTW came out the same year. GWTW won the Oscar for best picture. IMO Wizard told a story, GWTW .

I love the Wizard of Oz books. I devoured them as a kid. I think that affected the movie for me.
