True Oldies Channel dj mentioned that Badfinger wrote the Nillson hit Without you.

Badfinger band members Pete Helm and Tom Evans combined songs they were working on. The song was included on their 1970 debut album No Dice. Nillson made it a hit in 1971. The dj also mentioned that Paul McCartney produced Badfinger albums and sang on some of the songs Badfinger performed.

I'm going to listen to the Badfinger version now.
