who were part of our Joe Biden group both here and on Facebook. "Gateley" passed in 2021 and "Froward" (Fred Dupper) died suddenly in his forties from a tooth infection. Fred hadn't been on DU for quite some time though.

Yes, DU is a special spot, especially considering how so many often impersonal social media platforms have become dominant. I am sometimes surprised that DU has endured as well as it has.
