52. We lost 2 senior labs within days of each other a couple of years ago -

Monday

and the bigger male came to this exact point - he would not get up. Once we got him to the Vet the next day, they said he had a big mass in his abdomen and they wouldn't recommend operating because he was already 13 years old and very sick. Just keep him comfortable tonight and enjoy this time w/him. You are doing your best for him, and I can tell you've been an amazing pet owner.
