75. I'm not sure if there are any I refuse to watch

Jan 2012

There are a few I tend to avoid and/or generally find off-putting

Kate Bosworth -For some reason I've never taken a liking to her. To make it worse, I'm not sure if I've even seen anything that she's in but there's something I find really off-putting about her

Rikki Lake -She can't act period

Demi Moore -I don't go out of my way to purposely avoid her and I suspect that some of her brat pack stuff is quite good. Most of the movies she's been in just don't appeal to me -"Ghost", in which she was great, being a notable exception

Will Ferrell -he comes across as overrated with a high opinion of himself that is not reflected in his acting abilities

Katie Holmes -another one I just find irritating.

Amy Adams -Something about her demeanor or her acting that I find slightly off-putting

Mary Louise Parker -I've seen her in some good stuff but her performance in the West Wing just irritated the heck out of me and she's been less than impressive in some of her other movies as well.

Julia Roberts -had a few good movies but also a few bad ones and her acting in many of them has not been particularly impressive. Highly overrated

Reba McEntire -Not funny, overrated and I've since learned she's a right winger. The combination of the three is enough for me

Roseanne Barr -She was mildly entertaining in Roseanne but her persona has always annoyed me and I think she's very overrated. I do give her credit for her advocacy on GLBT issues, though
