9. Yeah, even a snake can't get thru a baler without getting chopped

We got one bale of hay in a load that smelled bad. When we opened it up, there was a medium sized snake, probably an indigo chopped into about 6 inch pieces. The hay was covered with blood. We had to throw it all out - the decayed snake and blood can cause botulism poisoning.

The vultures were the only ones who were happy about that bale of hay.
