2. Rather more than a year or two...

We don't watch TV, but we do occasionally rent old TV series on DVD to see what the fuss was all about. Within the last year, we finished the x-files (including all spinoffs), Twin Peaks, and Nortern Exposure.

We may embark on Seinfeld or the Simpsons one of these days. As for music, we might give Men at Work a listen one of these days after hearing 'Land Down Under' the other day. I rather liked it. Needless to say we haven't listened to popular music since about 1978 or so.

When it comes to watercooler conversations we're a spent force, but at least we get to enjoy what's stood the test of time and we don't have to wait a week for the next episode!
