Did you ever catch up with a pop culture phenomenon a year or two late?

3. I always catch on late, at least when it comes to TV shows.

"The Big Bang Theory" was on for two or three years before I discovered it. The same went for "Monk", "House", and several other shows that were very popular for a number of years before I ever caught on.

I have, more or less, been able to keep up with the pop music, because I take take exercise classes most days of the week. Much of what the instructors play tends to be current or recent pop songs. Needless to say, I'm really of sick of Adele's hit songs. And, Pink's, and Beyonce's, and Rihanna's, and Bruno Mars', and... If I hear that freakin' "Girl on Fire" song one more time, I think I might scream.
