12. My uncle and his family send one out each year.

They are usually not longer than a page, with lots of pictures, and some kind of theme...like, for 2010's letter, they noted how at the end of the decade, popular media always comes out with "Best -___of the DECADE" that usually just includes things from that year...so all of their yearly activities were the BEST ___ OF THE DECADE!

They have a sense of humor about them and it is nice to read about their lives...
