I was recovering from rotator cup surgery done in January. When my PT people found out I was having the knee done they insisted I tell them who the sergeon was. Apparently they are not all equal and the PT folks have to clean up the mess so they really know who is good and who isn't. Turns out I had one of the most highly regarded in Arizona but I got to watch some folks who were not so lucky and the difference was frightening.
Take care, good luck and don't plan on playing golf anytime soon.

Better a knee now than worse if you were to not have it replaced and take a fall....
