Wikipedia describes DU as a Catholic community. Wha? [View all]

Didn't know where to post this, so I thought I'd ask here.

The Wikipedia.com article on DU notes right in the first sentence that DU is "an online community for Catholic U.S. Democrats progressives." Huh?? Later on, the article explains how the site is biased in favor of Catholicism, and how some members and moderators are hyper vigilant in suppressing Protestant viewpoints.

Maybe I'm just way to infrequent here, but, if anything, the forums outside of the Religion groups seem to me to be generally anti-religion or non-religious. I see far more posts regarding religion as fairy tales and superstition than I do arguing that one flavor of religion is better than others.

Is the Wiki article accurate, out-dated, or simply hacked?
