72. The Dutch manufactured a wonderful tiny car of their own

The Daf. It had a continuously variable transmission instead of conventional gears, a system with pulleys and bands. I’ve only seen a couple in the U.S but they were remarkable little cars. I’d love to have one. The passenger car division of Daf was sold to Volvo in the 1970s but they still make trucks.
