I share your concern about him being an outdoor kitty (which is why my kitteh is an indoor kitteh. ). I do have confidence that his human(s) are looking after him. He had an upper respitory infection that was getting pretty bad when he first showed up, I got as far as purchasing a collapsible kitty carrier in preparation to get him to the local vet and wa s hoping they still did cat adoptions when he managed to get himself taken in by someone. I didn't see him for over a week, was really starting to worry when he showed up again,bouncy as ever with no more congestion or runny eyes. He also has no fleas, and is apparently healthy. He's got quite a loud yowl and it could be that he demands to be let out, or he might El Destructo, destroyer of unattended homes .
I have tried to track him a couple of times but he moves fast, I have been unable to figure out which house he lives in. I am keeping an eye on him, and I make sure to give him some kibble and make sure he has fresh water when he comes by. If it starts looking like he is being neglected again I'll have no compunction in making sure he gets a new home.
