14. Making dioramas!

Here are a few pictures showing some scenes in my big fairy castle diorama.

I used real dirt for the ground cover. I baked it in the oven to sterilize it, and wow, did it stink up the house! I had to air it out afterwards and also clean the oven. I'm now making a crooked house diorama featuring Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf. I'll bake old coffee grounds and mix in some brown chalk powder for the dirt in that one.

My daughter gave me the castle for my birthday. A friend of hers made it.
