I have this insane day job, so it won't be in this one.
Actually, I did write a novel, just to see if I could do it. It's sort of a nerd/wine collector's pipe dream romance mixed in with a little 21st century southern California, some sci-fi, Thomas Jefferson, some 19th century France, and some appreciation of Hispanic immigrants in the USA. It's with an agent. No publisher has had the guts to take it on yet, but we'll see. I sent copies to a few friends, and got glowing recommendations (for real) from both Howard Dean and Adrian Cronauer (the real one, not Robin Williams). If it gets published, I'll let you know.

1983 was a great year for me - I had two little girls, 5 and 3 years old.
