125. Any time I hear "circus peanuts",
Wed Feb 27, 2013, 02:33 AM
Feb 2013

I remember the time in junior high band when we had to go door-to-door selling band candy just before Halloween. I was in the unfortunate group that was foisted with the task of trying to sell circus peanuts-- that had been left over from the previous year! (Everyone else seemed to get easy-to-sell stuff like Hershey's miniatures). Anyway, at the first house we stopped at, the man at the door asked us if the candy we were selling was the kind that we, ourselves, would like to receive for Halloween. I piped up and said, "Well, I tried the circus peanuts, and they were kind of icky".
