8. Dont feel embarrassed,

It can feel scary, I am the biggest coward going. I had not visited the dentist
for over 5 years prior to the appts I have now. Also before that I went for over
8 years before that. I was sitting, waiting for the dentist to arrive, then I just bolted
from the room. Just could not go through with it. sheer terror.

Maybe complete sedation would calm you? Calm, gentle dentistry does exist. There are
so many people who have dental fears. You are not alone.
