Films about Francis of Assisi include "Francesco" a 1989 film starring Mickey Rourke as Francis and Helena Bonham Carter as St. Clare.
Roberto Rossellini's "The Flowers of St. Francis" (1950) on DVD from Criterion.
And the Hollywood version, "Francis Of Assisi" (1961) which co-stars Dolores Hart as St. Clare. Hart left Hollywood a few years after this film to become a Catholic nun.
