34. Let Timmy Smoke!

I love the Doc Ellis story. When they (meaning my parents the cops and all that) told us about drugs and why they were bad they said "mind expansion" as if that were a bad thing. I was like okay, I just learned more in five hours than I have learned in my lifetime. I've had a couple of bad trips, all fueled by too much alcohol, and I think I got more out of them than any others. The last one was four years ago and it opened up an awful lot of things and really helped me get my shit together. I also learned more about the drug and how I came to happen on a bad trip that lasted 3 days off of one hit.

It still remains part of my life and every so often I like to clean house a bit. I don't do the 'walk around high' where i would go hang with straight people. go tot he Movies... do touristy stuff, go to the capitol, court that kind of thing. I used to. "Function On Acid" was a prankster credo.

I also don't take three hits anymore, one is enough. And it is much weaker than the old days of orange sunshine. I prefer mushrooms... that is incredible every time. so organic. the colors and the heightened awareness.
