It's kind of like a grotto, cavern or burrow (word 2)--the sort of place where Teddy Roosevelt, Dwight Eisenhower, Lowell Weicker, Linc Chaffee or increasingly even Ronald Reagan or Barry Goldwater would not fit in due to the ideological leanings of the dwellers. (word 1)
