I have one pair of shoes for winter (or cold weather) and one pair for summer (or for when I'm wearing light colored clothes).
And one pair of extremely comfortable low heels for dress up.
My feet are hard to fit, and I'm picky!
Oh, one more pair: gym shoes.
That's it.

Not at all. Ballet is amazingly good exercise. It is rough on the feet though.

It's the western's world equivalent of foot binding. Feet get LARGER toward the toes.

I don't get it either. All my life only 3 pairs: boots, sneakers and slippers. Period.
