3. How do they figure this stuff out? Not really asking, I know, just surprised they remain so humble.

Our girl was the smartest cat I ever met. She came to us after running away from home. She was brilliant and used to bring us all kinds of "food", even though her former "family" had had her declawed. I think that is why she ran away. We had a fenced yard and squirreltown was our middle name. She played with them, it was birds that she brought in to share.
