I never liked Led Zep. Not back in '69, not now. Too much distortion. Too much screaming. And I agree with the sign that says "No Playing Stairway to Heaven" in the music store in "Wayne's World".

That is Brian May of Queen. Ph.D. physicist and rock star. He's pretty tasteful with his distortion.

That said, I always liked The Who and The Kinks for their bad attitudes. And Ray Davies for his better-than-Pete's songwriting.

I think Preservation Act II is far superior to Tommy and Quadrophenia. It's obscure. I'm NOT talking about Village Green Preservation Society.

But I digress. Brian May is one of my crushes. I always liked smart guys.
