(23,272 posts)37. I'm wondering if you're in a vicious cycle: the depression makes you exhausted so you don't exercise
which leads to bad eating habits, which deepens the depression (lather, rinse, repeat).
All of THAT contributes to the black funk which most folks can "see" and feel, and is a relationship killer.
I don't really know you and I hate to go all Dr. Frist on you, but if you can control the exercise and eating parts of your life, it may be enough to help lift the other parts of your life as well. But only if you keep at it and push through this slump.

I am laughing at the concept of me getting up at 5 am unless I absolutely have to.

If you don't like exercise, it likely is you haven't found what you like to do, yet.
