8. Patricia needs to unify her collection.

The problem I have with Patricia is, that if the blue dress is the best she has, then she is going into the competition without the element of surprise. If the rest of her pieces are in different directions, the judges won't pick her.

Michelle's collection is strong and well made. It is definitely showing her talents as a designer. I have seen these judges pick winners whose clothes I didn't care for, but who repeated the same design style over and over again. (A designer with a strange wave in the skirt, which I would never wear in a million years, comes to mind.)

This "strong design" concept is important to these judges. Take Anya for instance. She pulled a win out of her ass just in the time it took to show the judges what she had, and adjusted before the final competition.
