4. I treated myself to a pint of Blood Orange sorbet the other day.

A pint of GOOD sorbet IS actually 4 servings for me -- IF I stand at the freezer and nibble and savor
it with a long-handled teaspoon. This was a fair sorbet -- the best blood orange sorbet that I've had
was from AJ's Fine Foods supermarket -- some small-batch company the name of which I can't
remember.

I got it once and the person ringing up my order was middle-aged. The person bagging my order
looked to be a highschool girl. I asked her if she had ever tried it and she simply moaned while
shimmying down about a foot or so.

I looked at the older woman and said, "I haven't caused THAT response in a teenaged girl in over
40 years."

She laughed and actually said, "I'll have what she's having."
