50. Given that nice graphics shrunk to the size of an avatar

lose quite a bit in translation, it ought to be an uncomplicated image.

Assuming, for the moment, that you are actually serious about this (heh, I know, there's one born every minute) two thoughts, or themes, come to mind.

I seem to recall (I am cursed with a reasonably efficient memory) that your screen name is a play on the Nevada Smith character, and that you in fact currently reside in or near Las Vegas.

So.

Nevada Smith leads to Steve McQueen (no, I wouldn't either) or Harold Robbins or "The Carpetbaggers", which, let's face it, in the second decade of the 21st century is probably too obscure.

Which leaves Nevada generally, and Las Vegas particularly. When I think of Nevada I think of geography. Which doesn't shrink down to avatar size all that well.

But Las Vegas has any number of graphically uncomplicated images / icons associated with it. Pick one, either current or retro. Could be a NUDET, a pair of dice, a martini glass, a glam chorus gal, the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign, a long shot of "The Strip", a b&w simplified shot of the old "Rat Pack", an "above" shot of a blackjack table, etc, etc, etc. Lots to pick from, and you could switch them in and out and still stay on theme. FWIW.
