(7,515 posts)I'm quite verbal...but I've known men who are more so. I had a chemistry set as a child, helped my father build things like bookcases and other furniture types and can put together anything, with a decent set of directions...they don't have to be perfect.
My clothing depends on my mood... sometimes very feminine sometimes very tailored. Rarely 'frilly' however. Here in FL, I pretty much live in FitFlops or sandals... like you, they must be comfortable!
I prefer jewel tones, or even earth tones..(I do find beige, all by itself, boring)..., to pastels and my favorite bedroom was done in purples, fuschia & peacock blue. Paisleys and geometric prints. I like pillows on my bed...lots of pillows! I've been thinking about redoing my bedroom, back to those jewel tones... It will be a matter of finding the materials.
I hate fooling with my hair, which is why it is very long and up in a knot on the top of my head. I do love make-up, getting my nails done and pedicures!
I think in straight lines from point A to point B and on. I am a problem solver...so like men, supposedly, if you are going to sing me a tale of woe, be prepared to listen when I tell you what I think or how to resolve the issue.
I myself, am rarely looking for sympathy, but answers!
The biggest battle between my head and my heart was the one over religion. Head said BS, heart said "But wouldn't it be lovely?"
Head won, but it was a near run thing for decades! Most of the time I lead with my head...
Hope you've been enjoying your holiday weekend!
