And yet you agree that such information while useless as stereotypical labels can still be helpful in some situations. I stated in my OP quite clearly that this was a light hearted thread and that the information matters hardly at all. The fact of the mater is I'm just curious. I like to create some form of mental image of the posters I talk too. Said image doesn't have to be anywhere close to perfect, it doesn't even have to fit the individual at all and I really don't care about classical gender roles and expected stereotypical behaviour. I even provided an option for those not wanting to say, which you s perfectly fine. I remember seeing a thread here where people were asked to post their photo, that is certainly much more personal.
