Country music is garbage to me anyway. But for argument sake, she is a pop star. Period. You can hardly call what she does "true country". Its pop rock. And she rides hard on the gimmick of whining about ex-boyfriends. God forbid one actually whine back.

As I said, I'm not a fan of either's music, not my thing, too bubble gummy for me. If I were to pick one to listen to though, it would be Mayer because of his guitar skills. As a person that plays guitar myself, that's where I would fall. His guitar skills are miles superior to hers. But even then, its still not a style of music I sit around listening to.

Though I do know enough about the scene to know that John Mayer doesn't need to piggy back on anyone's fame. He has won several Grammys and other awards and has put out many platinum records. He already achieved superstardom.

This is nothing more than rebuttal to a song Swift put out about him awhile back. My only issue was you acting like it was this "real nasty" song. I was annoyed enough that I listened to it at all, but then after listening to the lyrics and seeing how innocuous it was, I was even more annoyed. If you are gonna say something like that, at least let it be true.
