4. back in 82 or 83 or so

we lived on a sand road in citrus county florida. There were doing a thing were they were going to name all the roads in the county. They sent postcards to the people who lived on streets that weren't named that you could write in a suggestion and return. My parents left it sitting the table for a few days and finally I wrote "electric avenue" on it and sent it in. I guess I was the only one on the street that did because a few months later there was the street sign on the corner. But it was a very poor fitting name for a sand road through pine woods and sand spurs in Lecanto. And it didn't last long, by the time I graduated high school and moved out in 86 they had changed it to "Kuhns Lane."
