but I have heard from Ruby Duby In Georgia (she is busy with work and family) and MG Krebs. I miss Ulysses (a 2001 DUer) and burythehatchet (a really nice guy). I think Xanaduer (former GA DUer) moved to NC. I've met Catwoman in real life. She's a really nice lady.
Many DUers have had a tough time since the recession began. Lots of of DUers have not had much time to post. Many DUers lost their jobs, insurance and their ability to have internet access. I have not posted much at all but I can still log on several times a week. Times are tough. It is a luxury to be able to spend some time online at DU.
I miss Swamprat. The graphics were spot on.
Has anyone heard from BOSSHOG? I enjoyed discussing gardening, pink flamingos and cajun/NOLA cuisine with him. 
People change and move on. Hopefully, some oldtimers will come back.
