In reply to the discussion: Once and for all. Here and now. Sunny side up, over easy, medium, or hard? The perfect fried egg? [View all]kcass1954
(1,819 posts)29. Over easy, but I'm not too picky as long as they're not dried out.
My egg story: My ex's business partner got married in 1989. We all went out one night and Matt said, k you've gotta teach Dawn how to cook my eggs. Dawn says, all I hear is that you're the only one who can cook his eggs the right way. I said, it's really simple: scrambled only, a little salt, no pepper, cook them until they're so dry that no one in their right mind would ever want to eat them, and cook them for another minute. They were gross, but just the way he liked them.
Edit b/c I'm a ditz today.

OP
Regardless of the time of day I have an Irish breakfast, it is always accompanied by a Guinness.

Ooooh. Now I'm hungry. We've got free-range eggs in the fridge (wife's friend raises them).
