First, fry up some bacon or patty sausage.
Break the egg into the resultant grease.
Use a spoon and scoop up the bacon/sausage yummy (AKA: GREASE) onto the egg until the whites are done and the yolk is filmed over.
Plate and serve.
WITH GRITS! goddamit!
That's the perfect fried egg and grandpa taught me how.
