10. Turns out the mud daubers don't sting unless you grab them

the paper wasps, on the other hand, can be aggressive.

We have 2 kinds of dauber nests on the front porch, and leave them be, as they kill black widow and other not so nice spiders.

In early winter we clear out the nests, after the daubers go where ever they go in cold weather.
