2. I had a Demento-like radio show and played this once or twice. The rest of their music...

... from the two CD's I checked out was absolute garbage. I believe the guys in the
trash bags in the video are the actual duo of Barnes & Barnes (Billy Mumy, the boy
on "Lost in Space" is the one on the right).

I believe it was the most-requested song ever on the 30+ years of the Dr Demento
show on the radio. You can still pay about $2 a show to hear him on the Intertubes
(and his website lists his playlists, if you want to find out about more contemporary
novelty music -- yes, it's still around.)

We brought him to Tucson for a live show (I bet he still does them) and I couldn't
see how he would do it -- I assumed it was going to suck. He was incredible!!!

I got to be his gopher for the weekend. We were crossing the street one night and
this fan rushed at us hollering incoherently. I thought he was trouble and wrapped
him up in a big bearhug. Turned out he was a huge fan and just got overexcited.

Of course, he was excited to see Dr. Demento, too.
