I think you are spot on about the posters.

Now it's a very cold and windy night and he is nowhere to be heard..
maybe he does have a warm home.
A song started running through my head:

I'm just a lonely boy, lonely & blue
I'm all alone, with nothing to do
I've got everything you could think of
but all I want is someone to love

So his nickname is now Lonelyboy (till I find out his real name).
