Laying in a bed in the hallway while they put the finishing cleaning touches to my room.

In the ER, they sent up trays of food and I had no input -- lunch was terrible... unflavored
rice and steamed broccoli, nothing to drink, no side dishes. Up here, even though I'm on a
fairly restrictive cardiac diet, I order from a pretty varied menu.

I'm feeling much MUCH better!!! They pumped me full of my YOU GO NOW!!! med through
an IV to drain the vast amount of excess fluid that I had retained (YES, I'M RETAINING
FLUID -- BRING ME CHOCOLATE AND LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!!!!!). I've been peeing
like the proverbial racehorse -- on all fours and everything.

I think this will be a relatively short stay compared to some of my others - I wouldn't be
surprised if I'm out in less than a week.

More later. I have nurses' amorous advances to fend off -- most notably Monique, Susan,
Kristen and Alphonso.
