48. ringed tail fox

just saw one this morning, with reddish fur, definitely a fox body, and capable of running very fast. that tail just stood straight out back. as at least one other person mentioned, curiosity drove me to find out more about it. I live in Westerville, Ohio in a suburban area but there are sparse woods and wetlands in the area. In the same area, about a month and a half ago, saw either a black fox or coyote. My neighbor says he has seen both. The ringtail red fox was a pretty sight. does anyone know the approximate speed a fox can run?
