He was on their 1996 abum "Arena." It was one of those "throw everything at the wall and see what sticks" efforts. Original vocalist/bassist John Wetton was loing gone, and in his place was John Payne.

Guitar duties were split between Randall plus Aziz Ibrahim and Tomoyasu Hotei. The biggest problem during the Payne years was material...the band simply didn't come up with compelling or memorable songs. This album was no exception.
