The Simeone Chorale version is what we had as an LP when I was growing up, so it's the default winner, imo.

Christmas music is a major thing for me - I have dozens of Xmas music albums and listen to it all day long, starting right after Thanksgiving. So, I will probably have several additional replies to your OP, as I think of more essentials to add.
