40. Take the pills, not the laxative drink!

Trust me, the pills are a whole shitload (pun intended, har de har) less unpleasant. A lot less unpleasant! I think you have to ask for the pills, otherwise they give you the laxative drink.

My doctor puts me under, so I think of clever last words to say. They didn't laugh the last time, I guess they've heard them all. I need to work on my material. Then as soon as you wake up, see if they will announce over the intercom that you need your partner to come in and pull your finger. They actually did that for me. Then they laughed. So did the folks in the waiting room, I'm told.

Don't forget, take the pills and not the laxative drink. Call them right now to make sure you get the pills.
